XL Systems Reduce Apparent Power (KVA)

APPARENT POWER (kVA)

Apparent Power is the product of the root-mean-square (rms) of Voltage and Current.  When impedance is pure resistance, Apparent Power equals Real Power (kW).  But when reactance (inductive loads like motors) exists on the circuit, Apparent Power is greater than Real Power because it contains kVAR demand from inductive loads requiring Reactive Power (kVAR).

TIS TEST RESULTS (500 HP MOTOR)

Test results show an average REDUCTION in Apparent Power of 60.8 kVA or 19.3%. XL Systems reduce Apparent Power (kVA) which corresponds to reductions in Reactive Demand (kVAR).
